The Platzl Hotel in Munich is a gabled five floor hotel located in downtown Munich, just 100 metres from Maximilian Street, known as the shopping mile. There are 166 guestrooms, which have neutral décor with wood panelling or large wooden headboards and checked fabrics. All have bathrooms with bathrobes and slippers, toiletries and hair dryers, direct dial phones with voicemail, cable television, minibars and dial up Internet connections. Double guestrooms are available with views over the famous Hofbräuhaus or the hotel's internal courtyard.
At the Platzl Hotel, the Pfistermühle restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, and serves fine Bavarian dishes and Ayinger draught beer in the restored vaults of the 1573 Ducal Mill. The beer garden is open in the summer months.
