Location. Towering 14 stories over Victoria Harbor in the Tsim Sha Tsui area of southern Kowloon, Hong Kong, the Kowloon Shangri La sits within 800 meters of the shops and restaurants of Nathan Road. The Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Cultural Centre both lie less than two kilometers away, and Kowloon Park, which contains a coliseum and pool, can also be found two kilometers from the hotel. Hotel Features. Splendidly colored murals in the hotel lobby depict the mythical Himalayan kingdom of Shangri La, and Venetian chandeliers and Italian Statuario marble floors reflect a European gentility. Classical music in the afternoons and light jazz in the evenings have made this impressive area a popular meeting place among the local crowd.
Victoria Harbor offers a magnificent setting for many of the seven restaurants, which offer everything from Italian to western cuisine.
