The Colony Club Hotel is located on seven acres of pristine beachfront on the popular western shore of St. James, Barbados Island, against the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea. The Colony Club is one half mile from Holetown, the historic village and first settlement on Barbados. The island's vibrant capital city of Bridgetown, referred to locally as "B Town," boasts shopping and entertainment just six miles down the coast. The area features numerous golf courses and historic sites.
The Colony Club Hotel's entrance boasts an open air reception area flanked by a peaceful koi pond. A freshwater swimming lagoon amidst plants and palms meanders through the property towards the open sea. The ocean waters of the western shore are warm and inviting for swimming, snorkeling and jet skiing. On the beach, the Sunset Bar is a popular setting for evening soirees with its rattan furnishings and cabanas upon a redwood boardwalk. After dark, the Colony Club features live calypso or jazz performances. The Laguna Restaurant overlooks the lagoon and beach from its open air dining veranda, and offers fare from hamburgers to pork piccata. For a more intimate evening meal, the Orchid Room features candlelight gourmet dining.

Guestrooms at the Colony Club Hotel are uniquely furnished and decorated in crisp island styling. Tile floors complement the stone or stucco walls, accented by bright throw pillows and fabrics. Guestrooms are air conditioned, though the cool sea breezes wafting through balcony doors may prove to be a pleasant alternative.
Renovation Notice:
From August 8 October 8, 2006, the following renovations will occur at the hotel: Jr. Suite Pool/Garden View rooms will undergo complete guestroom and bathroom renovation. 16 Pool/Garden View rooms not affected by the renovation will also be closed to ensure that guests will have no exposure to the work being completed. All of these rooms will be taken out of inventory; no other public facilities will be impacted.

New Promotion: Families receive a US$250 food and beverage credit if staying for a minimum of seven days. Familes receive a US$400 food and beverage credit if staying for a minimum of 14 days in a minimum of two rooms.
