Hotel Features. Opened in 1928, the hotel reflects the Art Deco architecture of its. An ornate stonework compass rose adorns the lobby floor and gleaming marble walls encase the gilded banks of elevator doors. Doormen post at the hotel's entrance 24 hours each day, and valet service is available. A self service business center offers faxing and Internet access.
