Location. The retro themed Paramount Hotel features a listed façade, and is sited amid bars and restaurants at the western edge of the vibrant Temple Bar area, within 50 metres of the River Liffey. Dublin International Airport (DUB) is 12 kilometres away, around 30 minutes by car.
Hotel Features. Guests enter the hotel through the large, lively bar on Parliament Street, or head directly to reception via Essex Gate. The small lobby sets the tone for the hotel's rich, retro decor scheme with its dark wood, black leather panelling and floor to ceiling burgundy drapes. Complimentary newspapers are provided in the lobby, where staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide information on local attractions.

The Paramount Hotel's sprawling, multi level Turk's Head bar and restaurant is characterised by striking decor drawing inspiration from classical sources and the elaborate designs of the renowned Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi. Stained glass, multi coloured mosaic tiles, twisted wrought iron, and Art Deco style murals define the upper areas, while the underground caverns feature Greco Roman wall paintings and play host to live bands and DJs. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Golfers will find several courses in the wider area, with the nearest one at Clontarf Golf Club, five kilometres away.

Guestrooms. The six floor Paramount Hotel features 64 guestrooms defined by 1930s influenced decor in rich shades of chocolate, mocha, and caramel. All have taupe carpets, framed black and white photographic prints, and dark wood furnishings. Amenities include cable television and dial up Internet ports. Dark wood doors lead to olive and white tiled bathrooms equipped with shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries.
